Google petitions FCC for NM desert testing of broadcast-capable drones - 
Google has filed a plan to test broadcast drones in the skies of New Mexico. A filing with the US Federal Communications Commission, one of the regulatory agencies that needs to be involved with such an endeavor, points to a test site south of Santa Fe, NM and south of Las Vegas.
