Evernote buys out handwriting app Penultimate - 
Cloud-syncing note service Evernote has purchased handwriting-recognition app Penultimate, SlashGear reported. Penultimate will continue on as a standalone app, at least for the time being, and its creator, Ben Zotto, will join Evernote to work on integration of the two services. A future Evernote update will bring handwriting recognition to it, and Penultimate will expand to support other mobile operating systems, as it's only available for iOS thus far ...
